See Rock City

On one of our trips to Universal Studios we hit so much traffic driving thru TN we followed Google’s detour. Little did we know Google would take us by one of the most amazing Geographical wonders known as Lookout Mountain. As we took this detour we found signs leading to Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Point Park. We instantly started to research them and jotted it down for future adventures.

Mammoth Cave National Park

Mammoth Cave National Park preserves the cave system and a part of the Green River valley and hilly country of south central Kentucky. This is the world’s longest known cave systems, with more than 400 miles explored. Early guide Stephen Bishop called the cave a “grand, gloomy and peculiar place,” but its vast chambers and complex labyrinths have earned its name – Mammoth.
